Communications and Information Technology Commission Releases the Sixth Issue of Its Electronic Newsletter
The Communications and Information Technology Commission today, Monday, released the sixth issue of its quarterly electronic newsletter, tracking the most important developments in the past year, 2010, in the telecommunications and IT sector in the Kingdom.
The newsletter, issued in both Arabic and English, reviewed the latest performance indicator figures for the telecommunications and IT sector in the Kingdom by the end of 2010, including the number of mobile telecommunications subscriptions, the number of internet users, in addition to tracking broadband penetration rates. It also reviews the performance of mobile telephone operators in the Kingdom during the past year, in addition to an analysis of the level of mobile telephone service quality during the Hajj and Umrah seasons of the same year.
It is worth noting that this issue of the Communications and Information Technology Commission's electronic newsletter is a quarterly publication concerned with tracking the most important figures and indicators witnessed by the telecommunications and IT sector in the Kingdom, and it is available in the electronic newsletter section of the Commission's website.
