"The Communications and Information Technology Commission" Invites the Public to Vote for Saudi Projects Competing for the World Summit on the Information Society Prizes

The Communications and Information Technology Commission has invited the public to vote for Saudi projects competing for the 2022 World Summit on the Information Society Prizes (ITU WSIS Prizes), which number 26 Saudi projects submitted by 15 government and private entities, with the aim of supporting national projects in their global competition and enabling the Kingdom's digital transformation journey.

The Commission explained that voting would be open until March 31 of this month,

via the International Telecommunication Union's website (https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/stocktaking/Prizes/2022/).

It is worth noting that the Kingdom has won 11 awards and 26 certificates of excellence from its participation in the WSIS Prizes since they began in 2012. The prizes are held annually, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), to evaluate digital projects related to sustainable development.
