"The Communications and Information Technology Commission" Invites the Public to Submit Their Views on the Updated "IoT Regulations" Document
The Communications and Information Technology Commission has invited the public to submit their views on the updated "IoT Regulations" document, which is the updated version of the "Regulatory Framework for the Internet of Things" document issued in 2019, in order to keep pace with the rapid developments and changes in the IoT market by applying best regulatory practices in the IT and emerging technologies sector.
This document comes within the framework of the Commission's regulatory role over the IT and emerging technologies sector, and its efforts to stimulate and enhance investment in emerging technologies, increase the benefit derived from these technologies and their economic and social contribution, and work to maximize the benefit from telecommunications and IT services — contributing to positioning the Kingdom among the leading countries in using and developing technologies that improve quality of life and support the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
In light of this, the Commission invites all relevant parties to submit their views and comments on the content of the document no later than May 19 of this year, through the following channels:
