"The Communications and Information Technology Commission" Invites the Public to Submit Their Views on the Executive Regulation of the Telecommunications and Information Technology Law

The Communications and Information Technology Commission has invited the public to submit their views on the Executive Regulation of the Telecommunications and Information Technology Law, through which the Commission seeks to develop the telecommunications and IT sector in a way that reinforces and achieves the goals and objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, enabling a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.

The Commission explained that, through this project, it seeks to establish the legal and regulatory basis for developing and advancing telecommunications and IT services in line with developments in the sector at the local and international levels, by drawing on global experiences in regulating telecommunications and IT services and digital content platforms, in a way that enables the Commission to carry out its regulatory and supervisory role, meets the needs of users and service providers, and achieves the desired economic and social returns for the Kingdom.

Comments will be accepted until August 28, 2022.
