'Commission' Held a Workshop on the Importance of Listing Local Companies in the Financial Market

The Communications and Information Technology Commission held, in cooperation with the Saudi Financial Market (Tadawul), an educational workshop titled "The Listing Journey in the Financial Market for Information Technology Companies," to shed light on the importance of listing local companies in the main and parallel (Nomu) financial markets.

The workshop aimed to introduce the impact of listing local information technology companies on the market, and to learn about the positive return from listing and its resulting increase in the company's capital, easier access to investors, and increased chances of obtaining investment projects.

The workshop began with an overview of the financial market and an introduction to the listing requirements in the main market and the parallel market (Nomu), alongside the direct listing mechanism, and attendees were also able to obtain consultation on appointing a financial advisor and benefit from the listing readiness assessment tool.

The workshop is one of the Commission's initiatives to raise awareness among information technology companies, by providing a comprehensive view of the importance of listing in the financial market, correcting some misconceptions about listing, in addition to raising awareness of the importance of listing and its resulting benefits.
