"CITC" Conducts More Than 970 Inspection Tours in the Telecom and Postal Sectors During May 2021

The Commission explained that the inspection tours covered many sales outlets and service provider branches in a number of regions of the Kingdom, as part of its work to strengthen user protection mechanisms in the telecom and postal sectors.

In addition to keeping pace with joint government efforts to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, and emphasizing the importance of raising the level of compliance with precautionary measures in all branches and sales outlets belonging to service providers, the Commission also affirmed the continuation of inspection tours by its monitoring teams, and the taking of necessary corrective actions against all detected violations.
