The Communications and Information Technology Commission today announced the success of the operational plan for the telecom and information technology sector for the 1439H Ramadan season in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah, noting that this year witnessed a high increase in the use of telecom and information technology services by visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, and that the preparations and plans were implemented as planned in cooperation with telecom companies and relevant government and private entities.

The Commission affirmed that this success would not have been achieved without the support and guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, may God protect them, in harnessing all capabilities to provide the best telecom services with high quality to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques, enabling them to communicate with their families with ease, under the follow-up and supervision of His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Commission's Board of Directors, and His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission.
