Communications and Information Technology Commission: The unavailability of FaceTime is up to the device manufacturer

The Communications and Information Technology Commission would like to clarify that the voice and video communication feature provided by internet applications was made available in Saudi Arabia as of 01 Muharram 1439H corresponding to September 21, 2017. The unavailability of this feature on the FaceTime application on Apple devices supplied to Saudi Arabia is due to the device manufacturer, and there is no obstacle to offering it in the Kingdom.
