Communications and Information Technology Commission oversees telecom companies' preparations during the Hajj season
The Communications and Information Technology Commission held today a meeting with telecom companies operating communications services during the Hajj season, to participate in serving pilgrims to the sacred House of God in Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites, in order to provide the best services to the pilgrims of the sacred House of God.
His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Jaafari, explained that the meeting discussed the companies' preparations and reviewed the latest developments regarding increasing communications network capacity to provide communications services to the guests of the Most Merciful in a manner that meets their needs and befits the Kingdom's reputation, calling on companies to be fully prepared, mobilize resources, and exert efforts to provide more successful services and comprehensive coverage.
Following that, His Excellency conducted an inspection tour of operators' sites in the holy sites.
At the conclusion of the tour, His Excellency thanked all operators for what they have provided in preparation for serving the guests of the Most Merciful.
