The Communications and Information Technology Commission has required operators to share communications towers and network components and coordinate among themselves when establishing communications and information technology infrastructure, so that operators can benefit from existing infrastructure in increasing the geographic coverage rates of their networks.

This step will contribute to accelerating and facilitating the deployment of communications and information technology services, achieving economic efficiency of infrastructure, and providing high levels of performance that allow multiple options for subscribers. The Commission confirmed that the regulation adopted in this regard will apply to existing and new tower sites, in line with the policy of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Commission that the development of communications and information technology services infrastructure be organized in a regulated manner.
