Communications and Information Technology Commission receives a French trade delegation

The Communications and Information Technology Commission received yesterday, at its main headquarters, a French trade delegation representing a number of French companies specialized in the communications and information technology sector. The delegation was received upon its arrival at the Commission's headquarters by His Excellency Engineer Habib bin Khudhr Al-Shanqiti, Vice Governor for Technical Affairs and Spectrum, and a number of Commission officials, where a meeting was held between the two sides, beginning with a visual presentation introducing the Commission, highlighting the communications and information technology sector in the Kingdom, and explaining the development and growth currently witnessed by the sector. Following that, the French side presented another introductory presentation covering the work and achievements of some French companies related to the communications and information technology sector. Side discussions then began to exchange views and explore the future regarding the directions of the communications and information technology sector globally and locally.

At the end of the meeting, the French delegation praised the efforts made by the Kingdom to spread communications and information technology services in various regions, and commended the successes achieved by the Kingdom in opening up the communications and information technology market, which made it one of the pioneering countries in adopting the latest technologies and providing the best services to communications network users in the Kingdom.
