Communications and Information Technology Commission provides free feature informing mobile users of the number of SIM cards registered in their names

The Communications and Information Technology Commission announces that, in its keenness to protect mobile users, preserve their privacy, and prevent the misuse of their names by others, it has begun activating a free feature that allows mobile users to automatically find out the number of SIM cards registered in their names.

Subscribers can benefit from this service by sending a short text message to the number designated for each company as follows:

Company

Details

Saudi Telecom Company

Send a text message to the number (902) containing the number (9988)

Etihad Etisalat Company "Mobily"

Send an empty text message to the number (616166)

Saudi Telecom Mobile Company "Zain"

Send an empty text message to the number (700123)

The Commission urges mobile communications users that, if a subscriber discovers numbers registered in their name irregularly, they should report this to the service provider immediately. This step comes as a continuation of the campaign previously launched by the Commission regarding updating subscriber data.
