Communications and Information Technology Commission participates in World Civil Defense Day activities

The Communications and Information Technology Commission participated in the activities of World Civil Defense Day under the title "Media is Prevention," which began the day before yesterday and continues until tomorrow, Friday, with the aim of expanding the circle of preventive awareness culture in society, spreading concepts of public safety through various means of communications and information technology, and highlighting the role played by social media in prevention and spreading and strengthening security.

The Commission's pavilion at the exhibition included a package of awareness programs, such as introducing the search and rescue service, and introducing the anti-cybercrime law, in addition to media messages urging subscribers to update their data and verify it with fingerprint biometrics.

The event witnessed the participation of a number of government and civil entities concerned with family and community safety.
