Communications and Information Technology Commission participates in the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Academy for Communications and Information Technology

The Communications and Information Technology Commission participated in the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Academy for Communications and Information Technology, held at the headquarters of Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) in Dhahran, which discussed the Academy's strategic plan, in the presence of representatives from the founding partners, namely Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.

The Commission is one of the main founders of the Academy, contributing its technical and administrative expertise to establishing the non-profit academy with the aim of qualifying the workforce in the communications and information technology sector, in line with the actual job requirements of the communications and information technology sector, in order to reach the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

This comes in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, and in parallel with the National Transformation Program 2020, which calls for supporting and advancing the Kingdom's economy, developing the communications and information technology sector, and building qualified national cadres.
