Communications and Information Technology Commission participates in "Comprehensive Security... Partnership and Integration" symposium
The Communications and Information Technology Commission participated yesterday in the activities of "Comprehensive Security... Partnership and Integration" and its accompanying exhibition in its second phase, organized by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Chair for Hisbah and its Contemporary Applications at King Saud University in Riyadh. The symposium's activities were opened by His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, in the presence of His Highness Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al Saud, His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Humaid, Imam of the Grand Mosque of Makkah, and Dr. Abdullah bin Salman Al-Salman, Vice President of King Saud University.
The first session of the symposium began with a speech by His Excellency, member of the Council of Senior Scholars and advisor at the Royal Court, Imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, who spoke about (the role of government entities in enhancing intellectual security and confronting extremism), followed by a speech by His Excellency, member of the Council of Senior Scholars and advisor at the Royal Court, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Mutlaq, on the topic of (worship through action and its impact on employees in Hisbah entities), followed by the Director of the Intellectual and Moral Guidance Department at Public Security, Major General Ali bin Mishbab Al-Qahtani.
The second session included participation by His Excellency the President General of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Sand, and the third session was attended by representatives of: the Hisbah Chair, the Muhtasib Consulting Center, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha), the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, and the Department of Islamic Studies at King Saud University.
It is noted that the entities that participated in the symposium were the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Public Security, the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha), the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, the Customs Department, the National Society for Human Rights, in addition to the Department of Islamic Studies at King Saud University, the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, the Saudi Hisbah Society, the Community Outreach Office in Al-Rawdah, and the Community Outreach Office in Al-Rabwah.
