Communications Commission participates in E-Commerce Week

The Communications and Information Technology Commission participated in "E-Commerce Week," organized by the Enterprise Support Center at the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha'at," by providing training courses on Saudi domain names and their advantages for owners of commercial establishments.

Over two days, the Commission explained in its training courses how commercial establishments can benefit from Saudi domain name registration services (ending in ".السعودية" or ".sa"), offered free of charge by the "Saudi Network Information Center" through the electronic portal (www.nic.sa). It also explained the benefits and advantages of registering Saudi domain names and their impact on enhancing the protection and reliability of establishments' online presence, in addition to the multiple services provided by the center, including technical support for registered entities.

It is noted that "E-Commerce Week" is held during the period from April 21-25, 2019, and includes a number of workshops, training courses, and guidance sessions for entrepreneurs and those interested in e-commerce.
