The Commission organizes the twelfth meeting of the IPv6 task force

The Communications and Information Technology Commission, sponsored by HP, organized the twelfth meeting of the IPv6 task force in Riyadh, today Wednesday, 21/11/2012, at the Sheraton Hotel.

Attendees discussed the most prominent developments regarding the adoption of IPv6 in the Kingdom and abroad, and reviewed the latest developments regarding the implementation of this version.

The meeting was attended by a number of representatives of telecommunications companies, service providers, banks, and other entities interested in this topic from the public and private sectors.

Coinciding with this meeting, the Commission, in cooperation with the Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG) and the RIPE organization, and sponsored by HP, organized a three-day training workshop (November 18-20, 2012) to discuss the optimal methods and techniques for implementing IPv6.
