Communications and Information Technology Commission Organizes Forum to Introduce Regulatory Controls for In-Building Coverage Solutions

The Communications and Information Technology Commission is organizing a forum to introduce the regulatory controls it has issued for providing in-building coverage, which regulate the provision of in-building coverage solutions by licensed service providers, on Monday 28 Muharram 1440H, corresponding to October 8, 2018, at the Commission's main headquarters in Al-Nakheel District, Riyadh, at 9:00 AM, with the participation of the public and private sectors.

The Commission said that the forum aims to introduce the regulatory controls for providing in-building coverage recently issued by the Commission, present the latest technical solutions for providing in-building coverage, and review the latest mobile telecommunications technologies that will become available to the general public in the near future, in order to improve the coverage and quality of mobile telecommunications services inside large buildings such as airports, shopping malls, and others, and enable numerous smart applications such as indoor navigation.
