Communications Commission organizes e-commerce forum in Saudi Arabia
The Communications and Information Technology Commission is organizing the annual Communications and Information Technology Forum 2017 under the title "E-Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," on Tuesday 25 Safar 1439H, corresponding to November 14, 2017, at the Commission's main headquarters in the Al-Nakheel district of Riyadh at nine in the morning. This is with the participation of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, the Saudi Post Corporation, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, and many entities related to e-commerce, as well as technology specialists.
The Commission said that the forum aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the local, regional, and global status of e-commerce through dialogue sessions with specialists, raise awareness of its benefits in the Kingdom, and review its economic and social impact. It added that the forum will bring together government entities related to e-commerce experts, investors in this field, logistics service providers, payment providers, communications and information services providers, and entities supporting the startup ecosystem.
