Communications and Information Technology Commission Lifts Suspension of Mobily's Services After It Fulfills Its Obligations
The Communications and Information Technology Commission announced this Monday evening the lifting of the suspension of service provision by Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily), after Mobily's Board of Directors submitted to the Commission evidence confirming the fulfillment of its regulatory obligations regarding the Saudization of the first tier of executives reporting to the company's CEO, and the issuance of appointment decisions within the company's organizational structure, following the decision of the Board of Directors of the Communications and Information Technology Commission issued the day before.
His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, affirmed that the Commission is continuing its efforts to empower national talent in executive management positions across all telecom companies licensed by it in the Kingdom, and to Saudize jobs in the telecommunications and IT sector, which represents a strategic objective for the Commission in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
