Commission Calls on Delivery Application Companies to Register Their Data

The Communications and Information Technology Commission called today on all delivery companies operating via applications to register their data on its website, with the aim of sharing with them the legislation and regulations related to their activity, and building business models that ensure sustainability and job localization, enhance competition, and protect user rights, following the issuance of the Council of Ministers' decision entrusting the Commission with the regulatory authorities for the postal sector and the supervisory authorities, and the governance of the sector, opening the market, and attracting investments.

The Commission said in a press statement today that the Saudi postal and logistics services sector is a promising market that includes attractive opportunities for investment and innovation to develop services in a way that suits today's needs and future aspirations, which in turn will drive the national economy forward and keep pace with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.

It is noted that the Commission's call to all delivery application companies to register their data comes as one of the outcomes of the Postal and Logistics Services Empowerment Conference held in April of this year to advance all services in this sector in the Kingdom.

Companies can register through the Commission's website:
