Commission Hosts the Regional Standardization Forum 'Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence'

The Communications and Information Technology Commission is organizing, in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union, the Regional Standardization Forum titled "Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence" on Sunday, 1 Rabi al-Awwal 1439H corresponding to November 19, 2017, at the Commission's headquarters in Al-Nakheel district in Riyadh at 8:30 a.m., with the participation of international experts from manufacturing companies, standardization organizations, operators, and regulators of the telecommunications and information technology sector.

The Commission said that the forum will shed light on the latest developments and updates related to the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, and the forum's program will include three discussion sessions, and a presentation by the Director of the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau at the International Telecommunication Union on the key role of telecommunications and information technology in enabling the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), and the contribution of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Commission invited those wishing to attend the forum's activities to register through its website by no later than Thursday, 27/02/1439H corresponding to 16/11/2017.
