Governor of the Communications Commission Reassures Himself on the Telecom Sector's Preparations for Hajj

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Eng. Abdullah Al-Darrab, toured today the work centers of telecom companies in the holy sites, during which he reviewed their latest preparations.

In a press statement following the tour, Eng. Al-Darrab praised the development witnessed in companies' services during this year's Hajj season, and their keenness to provide all telecom services to serve the guests of God.

The Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission noted the companies' steps in employing a large number of students during the Hajj period at sales centers to serve the guests of God, pointing out that Saudi Telecom Company employed 1,250 university students to work during the Hajj period, while also commending the companies' efforts in increasing the capacity of their networks to serve pilgrims.
