Commission Continues Conducting Inspection Tours of Telecom Companies' Branches

The Communications and Information Technology Commission conducted inspection tours of telecom companies' branches in various regions of the Kingdom, to verify their compliance with the Commission's directive to double the disclosure of package details, and to apply mechanisms such as displaying identification cards showing the features, characteristics and exceptions of packages on electronic screens at branches, and informing customers of them before subscribing to packages.

It is noted that the Communications and Information Technology Commission had directed telecom companies in the Kingdom last March to double the mechanisms for disclosing the details of the main characteristics and features related to the packages and offers presented by companies to users, in a way that ensures they are made known according to a number of conditions and controls.
