CITC Concludes the First Phase of the "Safe Internet" Campaign with Great Engagement

The Communications and Information Technology Commission, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, concluded yesterday evening in Jeddah the first phase of its "Safe Internet" awareness campaign for protecting children from internet dangers, with great interactive participation from children and their parents, at Al-Rashid Mall in Al-Khobar governorate, Granada Mall in Riyadh, and Red Sea Mall in Jeddah governorate.

The Commission stated that the second phase of the "Safe Internet" campaign would then be launched through holding interactive training workshops for more than 600 male and female teachers in the educational districts of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, so that these teachers become trainers and ambassadors for safe internet for their colleagues in other schools and their students across the Kingdom, and the "Safe Internet" awareness campaign will conclude its activities with the third phase, which includes holding mobile awareness exhibitions inside schools in more than 15 educational complexes in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, providing interactive field awareness activities for students to deliver preventive awareness messages that would contribute to raising their awareness of how to achieve safe internet access.
