CITC Announces the Release of a Public Consultation Document on Merger Procedures and Service Continuity in the Telecom Sector

Out of the Communications and Information Technology Commission's keenness to promote fair competition and protect the public interest and the interests of users and investors, it announces the release of a public consultation document on the merger procedures and service continuity documents in the telecommunications and information technology sector, on its website, in order to gather public views on it.

To organize the process of requesting views, the Commission welcomes all views and comments submitted on these documents, and invites concerned parties to submit their views on this document in as much detail as possible. The Commission also urges the public to submit all their comments and views, supported by justifications, if any, provided that the data and information submitted are based on the current situation or based on relevant international experiences and studies.
