CITC Announces Extension of the Public Consultation Period on Merger Procedures and Service Continuity in the Telecom Sector

With

reference to the Commission's announcement dated 27/06/1438H corresponding to 26/03/2017 regarding the release of a public consultation document on the merger procedures and service continuity documents in the telecommunications and information technology sector, and based on requests from some concerned parties to the Commission to extend the period granted for submitting their views, and out of the Commission's keenness to give all parties the opportunity to conduct the necessary studies and submit their views, and proceeding from the principle of justice and transparency, it has been decided to extend the period granted for submitting views on the above-mentioned document to Thursday 12/10/1438H corresponding to 06/07/2017 at three o'clock in the afternoon Kingdom local time. Accordingly, the Commission hopes for your participation and submission of your views within the period specified above.
