"CITC" Adds 10 New Apps to Its List of Registered Delivery Apps

The Communications and Information Technology Commission has added 10 new apps to its list of registered delivery apps operating through electronic platforms, doubling the total to 20 apps, in an effort to meet the growing demand for delivery services via electronic apps during this period.

The Commission invited beneficiaries to learn about the list of apps approved by it by reviewing the list published on the Commission's website

The Commission had previously directed all delivery service providers operating through these electronic platforms to take a set of preventive measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus,

and stressed that service providers must check their delivery agents' temperatures daily, verify their health, and ensure that agents sanitize their hands, wear masks and gloves and replace them continuously, in addition to avoiding handshakes, delivering orders from a distance of two meters, and using electronic payment.

"CITC" is also intensifying its monitoring and inspection operations for all service providers to determine the extent of their compliance with preventive measures, and is taking regulatory action against all violators.
