Communications and Information Technology Commission: 15 Shawwal is the Final Deadline for Verifying Mobile Communications SIM Cards

The Communications and Information Technology Commission affirmed that tomorrow, corresponding to 15 Shawwal, is the final deadline for verifying the data of mobile communications service subscribers (postpaid, prepaid, data) by fingerprint, or through the Absher system.

The Commission said that starting Thursday, 16 Shawwal, the outgoing service feature will be suspended for all unverified SIM cards, for a period of two weeks, after which the service will be disconnected, with the possibility of restoring service to SIM cards that are verified within (90) days from the date of disconnection.
