Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission Congratulates on the New Budget

His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Darrab, extended, on his own behalf and on behalf of all staff of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, his highest expressions of thanks and gratitude, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, and to His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques — may God protect them — for what has been allocated in this year's budget of goodness for the Communications and Information Technology Commission.

His Excellency said that what has been allocated to the Commission this year is an extension of the generous and familiar support enjoyed by all sectors of the state from our wise government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques — may God protect him — to enable it to achieve its goals, and perform its tasks and duties in building the homeland, serving its people, and achieving their welfare.

Eng. Al-Darrab added that, thanks to this continuous support, the Commission has been able to complete a number of projects for rolling out voice and internet services in many remote, densely populated villages and hamlets in all regions of the Kingdom, noting that these projects are funded by the government within the Commission's universal service projects, and that this year's budget represents vital support for floating new projects to roll out these services, and also represents a boost to government efforts to spread communications and information technology services throughout our beloved homeland, and to keep pace with the sector's development in a way that benefits citizens and residents in this country.

Eng. Al-Darrab added that among the new projects in the budget is a project to establish a modern frequency spectrum management system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praying to God Almighty to perpetuate security and stability upon this homeland, and further prosperity and flourishing under our wise leadership.
