Among (12) Elected International Experts, the ITU Honors the Kingdom's Representative "Eng. Tariq Al-Omari" in Recognition of His Contributions to the Radio Regulations Board During the Period (2019-2022)

The International Telecommunication Union "ITU" honored the Kingdom's former representative on the Radio Regulations Board, Eng. Tariq bin Mohammed Al-Omari, in recognition of his contributions over the past four years on the Board, among 12 elected global experts during the period 2019-2022, on the sidelines of the 2022 Plenipotentiary Conference held in Romania.

The International Telecommunication Union praised Al-Omari's contributions to the Radio Regulations Board, as one of the senior experts in the field of radiocommunications who contribute their expertise in the field of frequency allocation and use, and also commended his role as one of the elected Board members authorized to consider cases of radio interference between countries and appeals submitted by countries regarding decisions taken by the Radiocommunication Bureau.

It is worth noting that Al-Omari possesses extensive expertise that has enhanced his participation in the World Radiocommunication Conference and its preparatory meeting, as well as the Radiocommunication Assembly and the Regional Radiocommunication Conference, in addition to his participation in the meetings of study groups and their working groups, and the meetings of Arab countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council concerned with frequencies.
