Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) Permitted to Resume Providing Prepaid Communications Service to New Subscribers

The Communications and Information Technology Commission has permitted Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily) to resume providing the prepaid communications service it offers to new subscribers, after the Commission verified the company's compliance with the controls for providing prepaid communications services, including implementation of the decision to link the activation of prepaid SIM cards to the national ID number, through random samples of the company's SIM cards
