Al-Ruwais to Communications Commission Staff: We Must All Strive for Subscriber Satisfaction and the Protection of Their Rights

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission, affirmed the necessity of working in a spirit of one team with all Commission staff in order to achieve its goals, in a manner that fulfills the aspirations of the wise leadership, which has provided and continues to provide all support for the communications and information technology sector in the Kingdom, with the aim of providing the best services throughout the Kingdom at high quality and reasonable prices, and working to stimulate competition according to the highest fair regulatory standards based on clarity and transparency. This came in a speech he delivered before Commission staff during his meeting with them on the occasion of his appointment as Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission.

Al-Ruwais said we must all contribute to serving citizens and residents in a way that achieves their satisfaction with communications and information technology services and protects their rights within the limits of the Commission's responsibilities and jurisdiction, and to overcome the difficulties that communications service providers may face in performing their work, in a way that contributes to the development and advancement of the communications and information technology sector, and improving the quality of their services in a way that achieves subscriber satisfaction.

He concluded his speech by saying that we will all work together to draw up a new strategy for the communications and information technology sector, based on the Commission's jurisdiction and within the limits of its responsibilities, so that the sector reaches, God willing, what fulfills the aspirations of the wise leadership — may God protect it — in a way that contributes to economic development, and achieves the satisfaction of beneficiaries of the sector's services.
