"The Communications Commission" Directs Postal Logistics Services Providers to Raise Their Level of Readiness

The Communications and Information Technology Commission directed postal logistics service providers, which include parcel transport services and electronic delivery applications, to raise the level of preparedness and readiness in operational processes, to keep pace with the increased demand for services during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Commission affirmed the importance of complying with the contracts concluded between service providers and beneficiaries, and delivering parcels within the agreed period, as stipulated in the document protecting beneficiaries of postal logistics services, noting the need to double compliance with the precautionary measures recommended by the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus by all service providers.

The Commission also stressed the need to raise the level of preparedness and readiness in the Makkah and Madinah regions during the Umrah season in the holy month of Ramadan, and to verify the availability of all postal logistics services for visitors and Umrah performers, ensuring that they can perform their rituals with complete comfort and peace of mind.
