Communications Commission Holds an Introductory Workshop on Licenses for the "Postal Logistics Services Sector"

The Communications and Information Technology Commission will hold, next Tuesday, a workshop via video conference on licenses for the postal logistics services sector, to clarify the regulatory procedures for practicing the sector's activities in the Kingdom, and to activate communication with unlicensed parcel transport operators to clarify the mechanism for obtaining the necessary licenses from the Commission, in a way that contributes to enhancing the quality of service provided to beneficiaries and ensures the application of regulations by all service providers.

The Commission explained that the workshop will include a set of topics and themes, including the nature of the relationship between the Commission and licensed service providers, the types of licenses granted to practitioners of postal services activities and their scope in the Kingdom, the regulatory steps for obtaining licenses, and other topics aimed at raising market efficiency, regulating the sector, and protecting the rights of beneficiaries of its services.
