"The Communications Commission" Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Project Management Institute

The Communications and Information Technology Commission signed a memorandum of understanding with the Project Management Institute (PMI), with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties, and building a strategic partnership between them by establishing a main joint framework, cooperating in various fields related to project management, and benefiting from experiences, studies, and research to improve the institutional professional work of both parties.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Communications and Information Technology Commission by His Excellency the Assistant Deputy Governor for Planning and Development, Eng. Naif bin Abdulhakim Shishah, while it was signed on behalf of the Project Management Institute (PMI) by the President of the Institute's branch in the Kingdom, Eng. Badr Bourshaid.

The memorandum aims to contribute to building capabilities and competencies in the field of project management for the Commission's staff, transferring and disseminating knowledge in the field of project management by holding workshops and seminars between the Commission and the Institute, establishing and adopting a mechanism to connect the Commission's project managers with professional development channels at the local and global levels through participation in professional events in the Kingdom and abroad, and benefiting from the knowledge content platforms of the Project Management Institute (PMI), in addition to cooperation in the field of exchanging and updating data, information, research, studies, statistics, reports, and publications in the field of project management.

The memorandum comes within the framework of the "Communications Commission's" efforts to enhance joint cooperation with various entities in the government and private sectors, and to work on raising the level of awareness and professional competence of its staff in various specializations related to the Commission's tasks and its regulatory and supervisory responsibilities.
