"The Communications Commission" Holds an Introductory Workshop on the Parcel Lockers Project

The Communications and Information Technology Commission will hold a virtual workshop next Monday, 22/03/2021, on the parcel lockers project, which aims to provide delivery alternatives for beneficiaries that contribute to raising the quality of postal and logistics services provided and stimulating e-commerce, in addition to numerous accompanying economic, social, and environmental impacts and benefits.

The Commission explained that the workshop will include a number of themes, including an introduction to the parcel lockers project planned for launch in the coming period, a review of the project's mechanisms and business models, in addition to an explanation of how the electronic platform for managing the project will work, which will be available in conjunction with the launch of the parcel lockers project, before concluding with a review and discussion of investors' and interested parties' views.
