Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of CITC and Chairman of the National Committee for the Information Society, and attended by senior Commission officials, committee members representing government entities and the private sector, and a number of specialists.

It aimed to raise public awareness of the latest developments in the Internet of Things, including matters of trust and security.

The Governor explained that growing reliance on electronic transactions and the rise of promising technology trends such as IoT will generate vast amounts of information that must be managed securely and sustainably.

This gave rise to the Digital Object Architecture, which aims to achieve security and sustainability in managing all types of information.
