Global Space Connectivity and Sustainability 2026

Under the theme "Connected World, Sustainable Space," the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), will organize the Global Space Connectivity and Sustainability Events in Riyadh from 12 to 14 October 2026, bringing together the third editions of the "Connecting the World from the Skies" forum and the Space Sustainability Forum under one umbrella.

The event convenes national and international regulators from the telecommunications and space sectors, equipment manufacturers, space service providers, and leading global researchers and technology specialists to explore the future of space communications, advance the integration of terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks to help bridge the digital divide, and promote space sustainability and the responsible use of space resources. It will also announce the winners of the global NTN 2026 research competition, organized by CST in collaboration with IEEE.
