The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC, now the Communications, Space and Technology Commission) held a workshop titled “Business Telecom: Between Ambition and Challenges” on 15 April 2019 at its headquarters in Riyadh.
The workshop was opened by H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of CITC, and attended by representatives of several government entities and the Kingdom's licensed telecom companies.
It aimed to strengthen cooperation between telecom service providers and the public and private sectors, marking the start of a phase of collaboration that enables entities to adopt digital transformation — one of the key targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
Telecom companies delivered presentations on the business segment and their plans to meet its needs.
It concluded with an open discussion between business-sector representatives and service providers on the challenges and their main solutions, service quality and the suitability of pricing.
