CST Role in Connected Vehicle Services
- CST is the regulator of IoT technology in the Kingdom, including connected vehicle services as one of IoT applications
- CST is regulating the telecommunications and information technology (ICT) sector in the Kingdom by implementing the policies, regulations, and programs aimed at developing information technology and emerging technologies.
- It sets the appropriate procedures and proposes regulations related to IT and emerging technologies and amendments to such regulations and get them approved by the competent authorities
