General Terms and Conditions of Use

The Meqyas initiative aims to measure internet performance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and enhance transparency and competitiveness among service providers by issuing periodic reports that contribute to improving internet performance and raising the quality of provided services. In addition, it enables participants to view the actual performance indicators of service providers through the Meqyas platform.

Accordingly, the end user acknowledges their agreement to comply with all the following terms and conditions:

• Use of the Meqyas device solely for its designated purposes, as the results and outputs displayed on the Meqyas dashboard are intended for personal use. Under no circumstances may they be published or used as a basis for submitting complaints, claims, or any legal or commercial actions.
• CST bears no financial or moral liability, under any circumstances, for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of the Meqyas device, the results displayed on the Meqyas dashboard, or any external websites or electronic links included within the platform.
• CST has the right to suspend or terminate the initiative, retrieve the device, or disable its services at any time without prior notice to the end user, and without this resulting in any obligation or liability toward them.
• Preserving the Meqyas device and taking care of it, and not handing it over or making it available to any third party.
• Ensuring that the Meqyas device remains powered on at all times, with any necessary disconnection kept to the minimum possible duration.
