Regulation Overview

1.1 These procedures are intended to interpret the provisions of the Telecommunication and Information Technology Act (the Act) and it’s bylaw. These procedures aim at implementing a clear and transparent mechanism to ensure the continuity of service provider licensed to transparent mechanism to ensure the continuity of the service provider licensed to provide services in case of non-renewal, cancellation or suspension of license or bankruptcy.
1.2 These procedures specifically apply to cases where a licensed service provider in the Kingdom is unable to continue offering their services due to bankruptcy, or non-renewal, cancellation or suspension of license as outlined in the Telecommunication and Information Technology Act and Implementing Regulations thereof.
1.3 Communications, Space and Technology Commission (“CST”) may exempt any individual subject to these procedures from application of any provisions imposed thereby. This exemption may be granted in full or in part, based on a
