This ensures the quality and continuity of services provided to pilgrims while offering secure, high-efficiency connectivity with instant response, unaffected by network congestion.
It also showcased the use of Edge AI analytics in crowd management, allowing for low-latency data processing and real-time decision making, by analyzing image and video data of crowd and vehicle movement instantly, which helps in reducing network consumption.
The trials were conducted using specialized wireless communication network operating in the 450 MHz band, which was licensed to Aramco Digital in October 2024.
This initiative emphasizes CST's commitment to leveraging digital infrastructure capabilities to deliver cutting-edge technology services and support critical sectors in managing the movement of pilgrims efficiently and safely.
It reflects the high level of collaboration between government and private entities to provide an exceptional Hajj experience.
