National Internet Exchange Regulations
Based on the Telecommunications and Information Technology Act (the “Act”) issued by Royal Decree No. (M/106) dated 02/11/1443 AH, and it’s Bylaw, and in accordance to the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (“CST”) ordinance issued pursuant to Council of Ministers Resolution No. (74) dated 21/5/1424 AH, and in line with the authority of CST to regulate and oversee the communications and information technology sector (“ICT”), CST exercises such powers seeking to realize the sector's objectives, including developing ICT sector to raise adequacy of services and develop infrastructure of the sector, promoting the localization of technology in the field of ICT, keeping abreast of its development, encouraging digital transformation, CST issued this document.
