Regulations for Provision of Management and Monitoring Services for Telecommunications and Information Networks
Based on CST competence to regulate and control ICT sector in accordance with its Ordinance issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. (74) dated 05/03/1422 AH. CST exercises these powers with a view to achieving objectives of regulating the sector, as set forth in Article (2) of Telecommunication and Information Technology Act (Act) issued by Royal Decree No. (M/106) dated 02/11/1443 AH, including: Developing ICT sector, leading to enhancement of its services adequacy and development of its infrastructure, in addition to transferring and localizing technology in ICT field, keeping pace with their development, encouraging digital transformation, and encouraging usage and utilization of ICT in across all fields, in addition to achieving clarity and transparency procedures
