E-commerce has recently witnessed a remarkable rise all over the world wherein beneficiaries rely on digital methods to obtain services in various sectors. So, the conventional outlets for the provision of telecom services by service providers have become less attractive to the beneficiaries. Also the Kingdom lacks a unified platform that provides information on prices, features, terms and conditions for telecom services provided by various service providers in the Kingdom where the beneficiaries can compare among them, choose the appropriate package for them, and facilitate and complete the process of buying and selling these services.
Therefore, CST is seeking public consultation based on the tasks entrusted in regulating the ICT sector according to the Act, including encouraging investment in telecom services, devices, and the provision of reliable telecom services at competitive prices and innovative ideas. Without prejudice to what is issued by the relevant competent authorities.
