Dr. Mohammad bin Saud Altamimi, Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), reviewed the readiness of the ICT sector at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the Prophet's Mosque, and the Haramain Train Station during his inspection visit to Madinah for the 2025 Hajj season.
The tour included telecom service providers' sales centers in the airport for serving pilgrims, ensuring their readiness to welcome the pilgrims upon arrival and meet their needs.
H.E. also visited to the Haramain Train Station, where he examined the key preparations for welcoming pilgrims and verified the availability of all ICT services within the station's facilities.
H.E. also oversaw the quality of telecom services in the courtyards and facilities of the Prophet's Mosque, to provide the best services to pilgrims and ensuring that all arrangements were completed to guarantee service continuity and reliability.
During his visit to Madinah, Dr. Altamimi and his accompanying delegation received a briefing on the preparations of various entities and the services provided to pilgrims, including the readiness of all technologies, innovations, and human resources to handle the large numbers of pilgrims.
H.E. also reviewed all technical aspects and operational plans for the 2025 Hajj season.
This tour is part of CST’s preparations to serve pilgrims during this year's Hajj season and its commitment to providing all telecom and technology services with high efficiency and quality.
Therefore, achieving its objectives in improving user experience through integrated technical services, and overseeing the services provided to pilgrims through an advanced infrastructure.
