CST issues the Digital Regulations Academy's annual report for 2023

The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission has released the annual report of the Digital Regulations Academy for the year 2023. The report aims to introduce the academy, its inception, and objectives, as well as explain the academic tracks it offers and highlight its key achievements, enrichment programs, and training initiatives.

The report highlights the Kingdom's leadership role in adopting digital regulation globally by developing a new and innovative regulatory approach. This has led to the establishment of the Digital Regulations Academy, which focuses on developing national human capital and empowering them to lead ambitions in the field of digital policies and regulations, contributing to building a thriving digital economy.

The report outlines the academy's development since its launch in 2021 in partnership with leading global institutions. It also details the academy's accomplishments in 2023, including 15 enrichment programs benefiting around 150 participants, 10 training programs for 391 local trainees, and 123 international trainees from 52 countries, in addition to 22 beneficiary organizations.

The report also highlights key efforts made last year, including the establishment of seven global academic partnerships for training programs and the graduation of 20 leaders from the executive program in collaboration with HEC Paris, the world's top-ranked university in executive training.

The Digital Regulations Academy was established as part of the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission's efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s leadership in the field. It focuses on enabling regulatory capacity, improving participatory regulatory work, and driving regulatory innovation through pioneering practices.
